We already have a montana 4 and canopy, we are thinking of buying a montana 6 or maybe a okaholma day tent to give us extra space (although will take longer to pitch). Only 2 of us, so I'm not sure if we are wasting our money and should just stick with the montana 4. Any thoughts???

Hi happy campers. You've probably realised you have posted this on the campsite forum, and it would be more suitable in tent advice and info., but just in case.......thort I'd mention it. X
We have the Montana 6 and have just had a gr8 week away in it, it stood up to some pretty strong winds (being high on the hills in the isle of wight), and quite alot of rain (at night, thank god) . NO LEAKS, hooray. Like rickit says why change it if your happy? surely it would be cheaper to buy a day tent than paying for a new monty.
As rickit/carpman have said why not just add the matching day tent. That way you have the option to use the day tent or not depending on how long you are camping for.

Hi Struggler, we did not go to Ninham, we went to Lower Hyde, Park resorts site, we went round the Ninham site and were not that impressed with the park or prices! we also looked around Languard, and looked a nice site but prices are alot dearer than we paid. We had a very large pitch at lower hyde, we were on the corner so got a bit more space. ( most of the pitches are large). we loved it that much we are going again next year for 10 days instead of 7. Loads to do around the island, the cat (tigers/lions/jaguars etc) zoo at sandown is a must if you have kids, the wife & 2 girls love tigers so they were in there element, (its free for kids under 5). The needles (alum bay) is also nice. Hope you have a great time.
