Hello Neetkix,

The footprint is an additional groundsheet that is the shape of the base of the tent. The SIG is given some protection against stones on the ground and we have found the condensation is less when using this additional groundsheet.

Because it is in the shape of the tent it is called a footprint and is very useful in gauging the best position of the tent within the pitch before building it.

We used to have a small tent which you could fine tune the position on the pitch when built. With the size of the Georgia L this would not be an easy task.

Footprint is about £20

Hope this helps.

Hello lammyboy,

We bought the carpet. Very nice.

I like lounging on the floor (, not a fan of camping chairs) so for me the carpet is a big plus. It's well made and durable but Outwell could have done better with the colour matching when making joins.
