I love Outwell, Montana 6 - Will be out of your price range, but worth the extra cash

Welcome to UKCS!  Vango Oregon 600 would be in your price range. Brands to look at are Vango, Outwell, Coleman, Khyam, Sunncamp to name but a few

Where are you? There are a few tent exhibitions around the country at the moment. Best to go and see them in the flesh - they look & feel so different

Hi - start with Go Outdoors Coventry and Yeomans at Knowle, Solihull (both shops). They have a good selection, but are slightly dominated by Outwell. Yeomans have their own Peakland brand which I think is quite reputable. I think there is also a Go Outdoors in Oxford, but I don't know what their tent selection is like

We did go to a tent show in Wokingham (although we were down that way already) which has lots of tents on display (Vango, Sunncamp, Khyam) - think it ends this weekend though.

Good luck!

Just got back from a week in my new Wynnster Kestrel 5, great tunnel tent with SIG, cost me <£200. It kept me dry and warm even with the silly weather we had.
