Goin away to Alpine Grove on Saturday and the weather looks Bad and that is an understatement. Never pitched our Aspen in the rain and realy not lookin foreward to it either. Anybody got any tips for pitching an inner first tent in the rain.

I hope you are not suggesting that having an Aspen makes you somehow lucky where the weathers concerned. Trust me I know different.

I am only suggesting being lucky were pitching is concerned as i always wait until the rain stops which it always does at some point. Maybe you are being to impatient and not waiting until it stops. As said above it only needs to be stopped for 30 Mins top. Keep your beer & wine at easy reach so you can chill whilst waiting for a break in the weather.

I do hope you are right about the rain stopping, I would hate to think that someone with your infinite patience would sit in your car for days on end confident that sooner or later it will stop. Still on a brighter note at least with the tent safely locked away in your trailer no spiders could set up home.
