My partner and I are looking to invest in a new tent. We have used a Lichfield Montana for the last 5 years and have no complaints at all. We are now looking to get a slightly larger tent incase we have a new baby camper joining us!!
Our main prioities are height and porch. We have looked at the Outwell Oregon 5 and are quite impressed, we like that set up as opposed to a vis a vis layout. Can anyone give me any pros and cons from personal experience about this tent or any other of this ilk.
Thanks in advance

Don't own one (yet!!) but at a recent exhibition we were told it was very easy to put up, took about 15 minutes. Also told it was better to have a proper dividing curtain so you didn't slip through to the other bedroom. Have to say we were very impressed.
I love the Oregon 5. Saw one at a show about 12 months ago and it looked stable and dry even after some particularly heavy rain. Nearly bought it but it was just a bit outside my budget at the time.

I recently bought an Oregon 5. Simple to put up and the 3/2 divider sleeping area is a cracking idea. Good for height and very stable in Scottish wind. Problem was it started to leak around both front porch zip seams. Water would start to dribble down the inside and drop onto the ground sheet. They are supposed to be waterproof so I'm returning it. The company who sold it to me did say this is the first time they've had one returned and could only put it down to a bad batch, which might be the case. Apart from that, I would recommend it.
Thanks for the link Afbowman. I've heard about Outwell leaks, Shaygo, but not on this model. It's also good to hear of it's stability in the wind as well.

My friend put her new Oregon 5 up 3 weeks ago. I gave her a hand it it was up in 10-15 mins.
Fantastic tent and she was very pleased with it.
She'd also bought a day tent from argos at half price.
Now, she decided not to take the day tent on that occasion but she'd wished she had as the weather was dreadful (no leaks) but there is not a huge amount of space for all the other stuff one tends to take.
Argos day tents are only £35 at the moment. Recommended.
