hi folks ,

im looking another owner of the outwell vermont xl for some advice ,ive just had my first family camping trip in the tent which considering the weather went great just one minor leak altho i had some concern over a zip cover on the front porch area ,the problem being that along the left hand side of the tent along the zip that opens up the front porch area there is velcro missing on one side so looking down the seam there is velcro top middle and bottom altho the bottom only has one side to the velcro meening i can close half way down then none at the bottom ,can anyone confirm they either have the same problem or that there is a velcro fastening at the bottom <<<<<all sounds confusing i know but after talking to the shop where i got the tent thay said if its a design fault then ill have to live with it if not it will be fixed ,any help would be great ive included a pic if it works so you can see what i meen

Haven't used my Vermont yet, but your picture clearly looks like it is missing its counterpart velcro and I would take it back to the retailer. As you've leak tested this one, I would suggest you ask for it to be fixed rather than replaced (and risk getting a leaky one!)
