SIG = Sewn In Groundsheet throughout. Usually those without (like the tent you're looing at) have seperate, removable groundsheets in the living areas but sewn-in in the bedrooms. It all depends on personal preference, without means extra ventilation and easier cleaning, plus being able to lift the groundsheet enables the grass to breathe, etc. However, SIG's are fully sewn in, living area and all. Advantages are no bugs, no water seepage and extra warmth but downsides are they can get rather hot without adequate ventilation and are a bit of a sod to keep clean.
If it's a full SIG you're after, the Khyam Kansas 8 is an excellent buy (it's what we've got), it's only £199, fully sewn in plus lots of bedroom options plus optional extras you can buy to add to it. Happy hunting!
