Does anyone know if you can fit a montana 6 canopy on the front of the vermont xl? They are same width but not sure about the slopes at the front of the tents.

We saw the universal side canopy but it can only go on the side and there are lots of guys on the side.

hi

this is not to do with a canopy - but you asked me about the carpet in our vermont L last week, and I said I'd let you know.  We were camping at the weekend - but didn't use the carpet as it was sooooooo wet and muddy!  we just put a rug on the floor for our son to play on and that was quite good.  Still looking forward to putting the carpet in on the next trip tho!!

HI Mamabear

We have just bought the Montanna 6 canopy for our vermont L but im not sure about the XL. We were told this canopy would fit the Vermont L by a camping shop.

Hope that helps

ps.  Hello to Pinguange

We haven't as yet been able to buy the Vermont L carpet but i totally agree with you about using it in wet and muddy conditions. We said the same from the week in Dorset that we have just had it would of been too wet and muddy to use a carpet. We used an old sheet that can be put in the wash. But we are looking to getting our hands on one eventually.

Colin, contact Stephan or Cameron here I just bought my carpet from them, got it Monday. I don't see it on their website but I would call and find out. It sells for 44 or 45 pounds. They have great customer care and their shipping is super fast. If you buy it, let them know the Leavers family sent you.

I saw a post on another forum which suggested that the front canopy for the Montana 6 will fit on the Vermont Large, but I haven't found any feedback from anyone who's tried it. I'm keen to get a canopy for the front of our Vermont so would love to hear from anyone who's tried this. The alternative seems to be a freestanding canopy from Outwell which will fit any tent, but this is pretty huge and pretty expensive

The Vermont XL is to wide for the Monty 6 extension. The L is fine.
