Why not get a kitchen tent or a day tent? For less than £100 you can set all your gear up in there. You may be charged for it as a pup tent, but not all sites do this so you'd have to check first.
If the only reason you want a bigger tent is to cook in it, then I'd definitely invest in a kitchen tent instead - there is one being sold in various palces (Argos, Go Outdoors) for less than £40.
Yes, you might be charged for it at some campsites, but much safer to cook away from your main tent. It can also be used to store all of your kitchen stuff aswell.
oh no thats not the reason, the bigger tents will be so much better just wondered if you can cook in any of them? weve seen some brill ones & much prefer the big 3 bedroomed hexicon shaped ones....

You'll get mixed opinions on cooking in tents. We cook in the porch of our halo. Got a porch extension with it so there's enough room for chairs, tables and camp kitchen. It really up to you to decide, but obviously you need to take fire precautions.
I wouldn't cook in any synthetic tent, only canvas. There's a thread on kitchen tents ongoing at the moment and plenty of prvious threads before about cooking in tents.
You would be OK to cook under a canopy, but not in an enclosed porch IMO
But it is a question of choice, and there are campers that do cook in their tents.
well i will say that we have no problem cooking inside the porch of our vango diablo 900, you just have to be careful, the slight bonus is that the vango is flame resistant - now i am not saying it is flame proof, just be careful. I should think that you will find the diablo 900 big enough for you.
