I have just seen a Karrimor Beta 2 man tent in Blacks for £99 and thought it looked very spaious for the weight - 3Kg

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has one and how they stand up to our lovely English weather!

Thanks jean. I can't find a link on the internet anywhere. I did see the tent in Blacks in Cambridge this week and it is in their catalogue, but not on thier internet site. Catalogue says it has 3000hh though so quite high. It's just odd no-one else seems to sell them.

With a hh of 3000 it should be fine, and if you've seen it on display & like the style, then I'd say go for it. If you do have any problems with it in use, I doubt that you would have any trouble getting an exchange or refund from a company like Blacks.

Are you sure its not a vango as they do a range called beta ?

Hi Simon

No its wasn't a vango beta 250 - this two man tent is a tunnel style and almost 5kg in weight. The karrimor beta is a semi geodesic tent and weighs alot less at 3kg.

I think I will take another look this week when I go back into town.
