We are thinking of trading in our vango and thought the outwell range look really great.  We are a bit torn between the vermont and sunvalley - any thoughts?

Personally, I like the Vermont L, the porch is huge and the front zips open like a canopy. The rest of the features are very similar

Hi Lsec99 and welcome to UKCS a most addictive website. Both these tents are  very good but not only does the Vermont have the porch as mentioned previously but more importantly has Steel Poles. These provide better support in very windy conditions than the fibre glass ones. But which ever tent you choose, we hope you have many a great trip with it.

Having seen the sun valley erected ( we were going to buy it ) We gave it a thorough once over and to be honest I wasnt too impressed :( It seemed very flimsy and 'wibbly'  No idea about the Vermont as although seen it didnt give it a proper inspection as we were not in the market for it!

In pretty much the sme dilemna  sun valley or Vermont. Vermonts wardrobe seems to get in the way a bit and its much heavier. Is the sun valley really as dodgy as folk think given i will not be camping in gale force winds!
