i am about to purchase an outwell norfolk lake but cannot find a carpet for it are there any left and cannot find an extra ground sheet to fit under it due to size does anyone know where i can get these from

i am about to purchase an outwell norfolk lake but cannot find a carpet for it are there any left and cannot find an extra ground sheet to fit under it due to size does anyone know where i can get these from

Found a carpet on google at World of Camping.  Wasn't sure what the rules were on links, so won't insert one.

On checking a bit further, is the footprint of the Norfolk Lake the same as the Sun Valley 8?  Because if so, OutdoorMegastore do the footprint groundsheet for that for £25.

Hi

The footprint for the sun valley 8 will fit the norfolk lake just right. You would be better with the sun valley 6 carpet as this fits the norfolk lake and has the hole for the second inner in the correct place. We found out early in the season that the sun valley 8 carpet dose not fit the norfolk lake even though it says on the box it fits the norfolk lake. Clear as mud im sure but if you need it made any clearer give us a ring.

The carpet on the World of Camping website says it's for Sun Valley/Norfolk Lake.  That's what made me ask the question about the footprint.  I don't know nuttin' about either tent.

The carpet for the sun valley 8 dose not fit the Norfolk lake, if you check the measurements they are 10cm to short and this places the hole in the carpet for the third inner fixing point in the wrong place. The sun valley 6 carpet is the one to have for the norfolk lake.

The footprint for the nofolk lake would be the one from the sun valley 8.

sorry just double checked the sizes and the footprint if you want one for the norfolk lake would be the one from the sun valley 6 and not from the sun valley 8.

Yes. Reading through Gary's posts I agree- he is saying that both the carpet and foot print GS of a Sun Valley 6 will fit the Norfolk Lake.

am bit confused regarding footprint

 

sun valley 6  length 6m30 width 4m

sun valley 8 length 7m35 width 4m5

norfolk lake           7m70 width 4m

i am atotal novice but surley the sun valley 6 footprint is to short

Yes, if you have a nofolk lake a sun valley 6 carpet and footprint are the ones to go for. Dont take my word for it, have a look at the sizes on anyones web site of the tents or start a new thread as another member (brainhertz) has gone through this.
