Hi,

I was given an Outwell Hartford XL tent by a friend of the family who sadly cannot use it because of ill health. The tent was bought in May this year. Can anyone tell my how to identify which year it is 2006 or 2007. I asked the person who kindly gave me the tent but they didn't ask when they bought it. The tent is still in the original packaging box etc. with serial no's on if that helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave, if it has the thermometer included, then I think it is the 2007 version but I could be wrong.

It will have velcro retainers and a thermometer on the 2007 range.

As Janso points out, the 2007 Velcro retainers as well as the ummm thermometer

Thanks for all the replies. The tent I was given has the thermometer but as I am a novice at camping I am not sure which velcro retainers to look for or where on the tent they are. If anyone can elaborate that would be great.
