and the Vermont M at £349 (£30 less than we've just paid). Although we have a SV8 footprint and carpet which we were going to make do with in our new Vermont, at those prices may have to invest in some proper Vermont ones.
We put a deposit down and when we went back to fetch them both, the guy said he had just sold his last two vermont L and he sold them for full asking price.
Moral being always do your homework on prices and ask for the best deal.
If they do not deal you can always go somewhere else.
He only did this deal because we bought 2 tents and we knew we could get them for 375 if he could not get his price down. Take your findings with you when you want to haggle
This topic was posted on Aug 5, still high season at that time, so of course you should be able to find a better deal with it being the middle of September.
No, No, you didn't do anything wrong. Just thought I would bring it up since the topic got bumped up.
It's always great to post excellent deals! Sometimes that's the only way we learn about them.
I agree too about doing your homework and asking for a discount. That's how we got our deal in high season. We had asked Yeoman's for a discount after August BH for some friends and were told no. They have a store in their town and wanted to keep their business local. Shame of Yeoman's for that.
