I have just purchased a weather master in green. Have had it up so to speak, but have found that the awning over the doors has some thin poles that bend, but where do they fix into? I feel that they are not the right poles? They are like fishing rod size, but not long enough to touch the floor!

hello there,

They fit over the 2 rear doors and at the rear of the tent to hold the little ventilation flap open. The one with the green bit on it goes at the back.

They are quite a tight fit but provide a mini 'porch' over the 2 doors.

We've just come back from North Devon in our Weathermaster (Galileo) and it was fab.

Hope this helps

Belinda

If I can be of any other help, let me know.

We bought our Galileo and took it away without putting it up (long story).

We took pictures at the local camp shop with a digital camera so we would have an idea of what it 'should' look like when we tried to erect it.

If you're unsure, I can fish them out and send to you?

Belinda

2007, Tewkesbury at Easter, Ormskirk in July, Ilfracombe in Aug, Wales in Aug, Kent in Aug - any suggestions for a Kent campsite by the coast?

Hello again,

You should be able to click on 'gallery images' to the left of this message and see the bendy poles in action.

You slide them through the canvas and poke one end into a brass 'O' ring then manipulate the other end into another 'O' ring. A tight fit but doable.

I had a couple of leaks both times I've used mine - at the front, seemingly from the top corners where the black webbing comes through the seam at the top. I don't wish bad weather on you but if you have the same problems, perhaps you would let me know?

Good luck and if I can be of any more help, just ask.

Belinda
