Just gone and picked up an Aruba (3 years old) with sun canopy and eco groundsheet in fabulous condition! Won't get use it yet as we had already booked a caravan for next week.
I know, I know! I should be hanging my head in shame mentioning a caravan but I had vowed to give up camping completely last year after a particularly hideous two weeks. But I have now seen the light and humbly beg for admittance to the Cabanon Club!
Can't wait to come back from holiday so I can put it up in the garden - kids will want to sleep in it!

If you find the springs in the poles are a bit dodgy they are very very simple to replace. We put off doing ours last year as we thought it would be problematic - we were so wrong it is very quick to do and makes life easier if the springs have become a bit loose!
Enjoy your Aruba, it's a lovely tent, we have the sun canopy on our Antigua and the Elzas and they are great - our Elzas one kept out lots of rain as well!!
Hi Piglet.
What do you know about the cabanon Tango 3 Dome tent.
There is one for sale on eBay but don't know much about them.
Hi TentPole.
That tent wont let you down, Hope you have some wonderful holidays in it, and you will be amazed how quick you will have it up.
Regards
Rex

Easy peasy - put the frame together (now first time out that might be tricky!!), hopefully most of it will be sprung in a couple of pieces and once you get it together the first time use some insulation tape to colour code the poles to make it easier next time (so tape adjoining joints the same colour). As a word of wisdom, at the front of the tent, the main frame will have sticking out bits which the (probably) 3 short poles fit into, this makes the little sticking out bit that overhangs the front of the tent.
Leave the frame on its knees so that each of the legs is "broken" at the middle, this makes it much easier to put the canvas on than trying to get it over the full height tent.
Work out which way round the canvase is (the kitchen extension will be on either the left or right short side.
Put the canvas over the top and fiddle with it to get the corners in the right place, then put the legs up, peg and guy.
Enjoy your Aruba. We've just come back from holiday with ours and it is a fantastic tent. We have the sun canopy and the utility/toilet annex which was well worth the extra. I was amazed at what a useful space the utility annex was, it took the toilet, was great for storage of shoes and bags of washing and I could also hang damp towels in it to air with the vent up.
Just to go completely off topic - I had to read the post title twice cos I was really confused at why someone was talking about Carbonara on a camping forum :D
Sorry!
------------- Gilyan.
Lead me not into temptation - I can find the way all by myself!
Thanks everybody. I am really regretting booking a caravan for next week - I want to play with my new tent!
Piglet - looks straightforward from your instructions, here's hoping. I am used to wrestling with the giant many-legged beast (aka Khyam Ultimate) so having a frame that doesn't have acres of material attached to it when it comes out of the bag will be a bit of a novelty!
gingerlily - does the utility/toilet annexe have a curtain for privacy or does using it become a spectator sport!?

It has a full length double curtain with zip and to one side is a pvc tent tidy with pockets in it. The curtain can be tied back if you just want to use it for storage, airing things or a wardrobe. You could easily leave the curtain off if you wanted as it clips on easily over the poles. Probably best to leave it on if you use it as loo, oh and give everyone earplugs.
