I had a tent from Halfords when I first started out and it lasted a couple of years.

Don't worry, that's a really good price to get you started and see how much you enjoy camping before you look at serious tents and other equipment 

I would suggest putting it up in the garden before you go just to make sure you are happy with how it goes up and to spot any problems the tent may have (not that it should)  Worst place to  find out you have a duff tent is at the campsite.

Check that the airbeds fit in the inner tent.  There was a post on here last year by someone who had bought a kit and the airbeds wouldn't fit.

Thats awful but Jelee's hubby is having a sleepout so will find any probs then.
