I really like the look of this tent and when I manage to sell our other tent I've been told I can buy one.  Is it really big enough for 4 to sleep in?  I can't seem to find the sizes of the inner tent other than it is 280 cm wide.  I would need to fit a double airbed in the smaller sleeping area and was wondering if someone could tell me if this was possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, yes it is adequate for 4 people....mainly a family of  4 rather than four adults.......A queensize airbed wil fit in the smaller pod, but its a squeeze

Thanks jans.  That makes the decision to buy one easier as this was my only concern.

Really like the size of it. We're downsizing from a Sunncamp Vario 900 and feel the Oregon is a good size for either a couple of nights away or for touring round a bit.  Understand the tent pitches within 15 minutes and it even has the sleeping compartments attached.  Read somewhere that you had to buy the canopy poles separate but might have found a retailer who includes them in the price.  Don't know how much they would be otherwise.

Haven't heard of that but they don't cost that much and i'm sure if it meant a retailer getting a sale they would include them

Thanks Jans.  Might wait to see if the prices come down in a few weeks but even if they don't I'm going to get one.

Hi,

I've got one, bought it this year for the same reason as you guys and its great.  Pitches all as one really quickly and plenty of space for us two and two kids.  We have a double airbed in one compartment and the boys have a double in the other.  I would recommend it especially if you can get a decent price.....

Thanks dhtatwork.  Really looking forward to buying one now and hopefully whilst we can still get a couple of weekends away in it.

This is my first tent and I am pleased so far. PJ Camping AKA intertent had this at £140 plus %20 discount a few weeks ago and the canopy poles cost me £9 from there. We are two adults and two children and can just fit two single airbeds and an Outwell double inflatable (130cm wide) in the bedrooms. The bedrooms are long enough for up to 6'2" and high so don'feel claustrophobic. There was a lot of condensation in the living area but left the canopy up to air. It takes about an hour for two of us novices to pitch but you could probably halve this time with practice and a less argumentative partner. Not sure about 15 minutes as others have quoted, do they actually pack the thing? With more money and hindsight I think I would go for the Khyam Classic XL due to the Quick Erect sytem and the cotton bedrooms seemed cooler on display models.

Ems1  Glad you like your Oregon.  Still haven't got round to buying one yet.  Looking at the Vango Oregon and one of the Sunncamps at the minute but I'll probably still be looking this time next year!!!!
