bought a vail 700 and can't fault it.

Do a search for previous threads for comments, there are lots of them!

Hi

Just so you know the Vario range of tents are so easy to pitch, all the poles on the main tent are all the same and if you peg the four corners first you will have the main tent up in 20 mins.

Regards

Gary

vario 900: good size, easy to pitch, good headroom, versatile as you can use with or without the annex. Can sleep more bodies in living area too.

Bad points: living area perhaps too big, but that's a matter of choice and not really a bad point. I can't think of anything bad to say really. We did have leak problem without annex on but that was on a 2006 model and the design has been modified on this year's. Oh, the other downside is that it doesn't have a porch, but I guess that'd down to preference too.

We have the Vario 900 and it really is very easy to pitch.  Loads of space and light.  It is also for sale in the adverts section but that isn't because there is anything wrong with the tent, more us!!!! We are looking to downsize.

Make sure you get a 2007 model.  There were issues with leaking on the 2006 model but they altered the design of the doors for this year and it appears to have solved the problem.

Hope that helps.

we have a vango (aspen, not vail) and also have a sunncamp vario - if comparing the 2 makes I would have to say vango are better for quality, features and space (ours is a 7 berth and could sleep more, whereas our sunncamp is a 6 berth and is tight for the 4 of us), our 2007 vario leaked in several places and also suffered condensation, we don't get this on our vango aspen, although it is double skinned which helps.  teh sunncamp is quicker & easier to pitch but not as stable as the vango.

Have to agree with your missus on that one, seen the green - don't like it at all, just love the blue!
