Need a new tent just for me and toby the dog. He's not much use at putting up tents. Any information on which would be a suitable tent which i can erect by myself. Budget up to £100. Blacks seem to do a couple of interesting ones but their website is lacking in dimensions and details on putting them up. Any information would be welcome and quick as i need it by the weekend.

Hi Wanda (& Toby), welcome to the forum  You're gonna have to train him to carry the peg bag & follow you around when you're pegging the tent out

Hi Wanda,
I agree with VelvetKitten clima 3 is lovely little tent, I have a Gelert Tornado 3 which I constantly sing the praises of. Also the smaller Vango Betas, Outwell Oregons are worth viewing. But imho on a VFM basis Gelert are hard to beat for small tents.

Good luck.

I'd reccomend the vango sigma 300+, it's a more stable design than the standard small dome, but for not much more money.

So i get to the camping shop and i'm not too spoilt for choice! Three tents to be precise! There was a vango which was at the cheaper end of the market and the coleman adrenaline 2 & 3. Fell in love with the coleman 3. Andrew, the rather nice salesman, assures me i will be able to put it up by myself. Tomorrow afternoon will have a pratice run at putting it up. Toby not shaping too well with the pegs and seems more interested with his ball. Early hours saturday morning will leave sunny winsford for avebury, wiltshire IF everything goes according to plan.
