Hi All,

I'm looking to buy the vango oregon 800 (2007) and have been looking for the best deals around.  So far the cheapest I've found is for £184.99, plus delivery.  Has anyone else found one cheaper recently?  Also do suppliers normally have a time of year they will sell off this years models?  Any advice would be appreciated.

P.S.  I can buy any time between now and next March, as probably won't go again this year. (just returned from being wind battered in Norfolk!)

Steve

Looks like a good price to me.  You might get suppliers selling cheap in the Autumn. Always worth asking web sellers for an extra discount as well - you might get nothing or just a few quid - but it's still worth it.

P.J camping have a sale on starting saturday (25 Aug) 20% off.  The list price for the Oregon 800 is £200, so you should be able to get it for £160.

You could get the 2006 version for £115, you know. Look under "duncancamping" on Ebay. It`s actually Duncan`s of Wishaw selling off their old stock, so don`t worry about dodgy ebayers.

You can get  a 2007 for £174.95 including delivery from

www.thecamping shop.co.uk

I found their service excellent.  Don't go for the footprint groundsheet from them though - it was a lot more expensive than our local camping shop.

Well for me it`s easy...I don`t like SIG tents! I prefer a tent I can dry in smaller, easily handled sections ie seperate groundsheet.
