My sister is currently looking for a cheap family tent or family tent packages (sleeping bags, mats, airbeds). For just the tent on its own she's looking to pay upto £70 as she doesn't know if they will like camping.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

There should be a few sales starting in the next few weeks. Noticed intertent had started theirs today so plenty of others will start to follow suit.
If she isn't going to go camping until next year shee might be better off waiting for accessories. Aldi last year did some airbeds for £5.99 single and £8.99 double in December. They are brilliant and just go to show it isn't always necessary to go for the named brands.
Argos also had some pretty good reductions on their camping equipment and yesterday I saw a Yeomans outlet store (which I didn't know existed!).
There are still some tent shows around and I understand there are some bargains to be had on the last day so they might be worth a look.

Why not borrow from someone for the first time.....you will be amazed once you ask around how many people love camping ,save yourself some money and see if its for you .Then you will know what you need for your next trip and wont have wasted money on things that arent suitable for your needs .If you decide its not your cuppa than you will have saved some money.
I would recommend taking a notepad on your first trip to jot down ideas about stuff you have forgotten or would like for the next time as you are bound to forget!
