After some help, had my tent for just under 2 year, tapped seams are starting to come away.  Noticed this on my first outing, but was supplied with some glue.  I used this and it seamed to do the job, until my next outing when i noticed the same tape had come away again.  Has anyone had the same problem and what can i use to resolve the problem.

Have sent e-mail to kyham, still waiting for a reply/

That's unfortunate, I used to have an 'XXL Classic' which is now about six years old (the older maroon coloured version) and that is still in very good condition (I passed it to friends a couple of years ago)... It hasn't shown any signs of deterioration yet on the seam taping or material. This summer, there was a little 'seeping' from a couple of 'stress point' areas on the seams, but that was easily cured with seam sealant..

I now have the smaller 'XL Classic' which is now nearly three years old. Both tents have been subjected to every weather condition imaginable over the years (bar snow & ice!) and have performed well, with no problems...

I don't know how you stand as regards returning it after two years, but I've never heard of the 'sealing tape' coming away after such a short time... I understand that UV damage does, in the end, lead to deterioration of the material & taping, but not after such a short time...

I would be inclined to ask your retailer about it and see what they advise. Khyam are generally quite good at replying to queries from customers, so perhaps another E-mail to them, in case your first one has been 'lost in the system' somehow...

well andy got my reply from Kyham, they have told me to take it back to the shop..

The tape is actually heat sealed on during manufacture there isn’t any glue you can purchase to put it back on.

If the tape has come off, please take the tent back to the retailer you purchased it off.

This is conjunction with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended).

Rather pi**ed off with camperlands as when i explained the problem they gave me a glue to use,
