OK...you think you've found the tent that fits the bill really well...you do another search on here... and then you come across a thread saying that the same model tent leaked like a seive for someone on the first night it was put up...
Is it design fault?
Machinist's off day?
Seam tapers off day?
Tent not erected properly?
Unusual weather conditions?
What do you do next...?

could be any of those factors, withot seeing the tent in the flesh impossible to tell.
What to do next, go back to the retailer fopr either replacement / refund, but they may wish to get it tested for said fault as they are not visible to the eye in a shop.
It reminds me of the legend of the "Friday car", those famously hurredly finished (before knocking off time) British Leyland cars of the 70's, where doors fell off, windows fell out etc. Now, considering that almost all modern tents are manufactured in China, and particularly after the the fiasco of lead painted toys, it does make you wonder if quality control for these tents has lapsed somewhat in recent times.
