I will be in the same mood in a few weeks when I attend my first meet with the new tent.

Sod everyone at work - be yourself - be excited - It could be the middle of winter and I would still get excited about going away.

Ernie - will post a thread or on here if this thread is still going by the time I get back and will get some better pictures when away as items will be in tent so you get a better feel for size etc;

iv already used mine,as well as leaving it up in garden for a wet 5 days and i can confirm it it is both wind and rain proof. I think the quality for what i paid (£103 for 4 berth) is excellent.

Have decided or rather the kids have decided that they want to go camping this weekend

so we are off to snowdon tomorrow

will take pics as I mentioned and give you a report - already done a review on the campsite

Hi Velvet Kitten

Glad to hear you had a good weekend.  Wish we'd been away too!

Do you think you could get a standard double width airbed into the smaller of the two rooms?  We have 2 kids who are getting to the point where they want separate airbeds so we were thinking that we could go into the smaller room and they could have their airbeds in the larger one?

Velvet kitten -

Thinking seriously about getting the same tent for weekends away. Is the smaller bedroom big enough for a double airbed. Is Cae Du ok for kids aged 12, 6 and 3. We normally go to Riverside in Caernarfon. (Although whenever we do the weather is cronic and the river has flooded.) ?????????????????????????

The small bedroom is mine in this tent and I use a double airbed I even took piccy too.

My kids have the bigger bedroom with a single airbed each side again more pics - I will have them loaded on here tomorrow

There is a lovely spot for swimming in the river - we spent all Saturday afternoon in it.

Loads of space for the kids to play and Beddgelert is only a 5/10 minute walk away
