Here we go with my first post!

Have rediscovered the joys of camping after many years absence and have recently found the message board. Like so many others I wish I'd found it sooner!

We are the proud owners of a new Vango Diablo 600XP and have already tested it in mid Wales and on the south coast this week. By the way, did anyone else buy a tent at the Millets sale at the Scout camp in Oxford recently and get a fantastic bargain ?

Really delighted with the tent but we have one question. Running along a roof seam inside the inner tent is a set of velcro loops. What's their purpose? They look like they ought to take an extra pole. I have seen one mesage relating to an extra pole but can anyone provide more info? Does the missing pole just add more rigidity?

Looking forward to any replies and hours more fun on this great website!

Hi AJ

Welcome to the forum!

They are velcro straps for securing wiring to an electric light out of the way You will find they roughly run from an area near the Electric hook up entry point ( a small zip slot ) and to a hanging hook in the roof :)

welcome to the forum

i think skatty has answered your question about the velcro loops but if you do ever need replacment poles or spare poles it would be worth trying
