Has anyone mabe this change/upgrade?
I am thinking of a smaller footprint but would welcome comments on the differences on erecting and weight in the wet etc.

We did a similar thing in going from the Diablo 900 to the Monty6. The Monty in our opinion is a better configuration for us and certainly is easier to pitch although we had got the Diablo down to about 1hr in a regimental style. We chose the Monty because after a couple of outings with the Diablo it was apparent that the third bedroom would always sag and we did not like crawling in and out of the pods. We also had a couple of problems with the tension of the bedroom doors and with instances whyere we could not zip them up.We still have the Diablo as a spare tent if needed but we all prefer the Monty now.

i have problems with my diablo when it comes to zipping up the pods, but i sussed it last weekend, as long as the pods are zipped up upon erection ( no pun) and the poles are not pulled extra tight, the zips work fine,

At £503 I guess it is a good investment so I bought the Norfolk Lake today. I have read so many positive comments on this site I had to jump in with both feet! It will be delivered this week so just want to see it now as I haven't seen any of the Outwell tents in polycotton, apart from the pictures on the web. Heres hoping the family are impressed with the purchase....Now, can we squeeze in a short break before winter?????
