Can anyone help?!?
My poor newly acquired Hartford L has been on 3 trips (last one this weekend) and the first two were rather wet. We spent 2 weeks drying it after the last trip and were certain it was ok. However when we put it up this weekend we realised there was a bit of mould on the inner tent. It seemed to start from the little label attached to the tent telling you it isnt fire proof which was worst affected and spreading up the seams of one bedrrom but also appears in other random spots the opposite bedroom and main living area.
I have read the posts suggesting milton or even vanish will hopefully do the trick of ridding us of the mould dangers and appearance, however I wonder if any other Hartford owners have fallen foul of wet tent problems and how they have managed to wash them? As it is SIG inner it has all the metal hook and eyes attached to it so wouldn't be an ideal candidate for the washing machine I assume?! Should I just rub it down while it is laid out flat? Or should I put it up as best i can in my dining room and rub it down while up?!
Any tent help would be most appreciated!
Thank you
