Hi

Can someone tell what year these Montana poles are:

I am wondering,since the "Outwell feature guide" attached to the bag mentions the 2006 model - so I hope that the poles can tell the tale if it is a 2006 or 2007 I've got?

Props to Go-outdoors for staff in the tent department for helping me with my 'props' (replacement poles).

Hi Jens,

I bought a 2006 Monty 6, which had a slightly bronzed coloured poles. I then needed to replace I whole hoop section. Blacks who I  bought the tent from weren''t that helpful.

I went to Go outdoors in Sheffield and they had spare poles like  like the picture you show (silver coloured with stoppers at the end of ceiling curve sections). These are supposed to be from the 2007 model. I've put the tent up and the new poles fit. There is a slight variation to the tent curve but It seems to stand up pretty firm as long as I use complete sections of silver or bronze rather trying to mix them.

The bonus is that Go outdoors only asked for a donation in the charity box, £10 per complete pole section. I put an extra donation in and got an extra spare set in order to future proof my tent. Hope this is helpful.
