Hi just had a great 2 weeks camping with friends in Cornwall, we were lucky with the weather in the day but the evenings turned really cold and we could have done with some sort of canopy to eat under. We have a Aztec Cantera 12 man tent, and we can only find an aztec canopy with no sides to atach to the door of our tent. Does anyone know of and door canopies with sides which are big enough to eat in?

Hi,
looking at your tent I would say that a Vango Large canopy might fit, you can see one here
I have just bought 1 of these for 1 of my tents and have been advised that with a wee bit modification on my part it will do the job. I'm sure others will be a long to help soon but in the meantime I hope this helps, and welcome to the site Kyohoon.

For a small number of people, I used a huge fishing brolly I got from argos which has sides zipped into it. The sides were a bit of a pain so I now use a windbreak with it instead. It also gives me a sheltered cooking area and doesn't take up much room in the car when I go on weekend camping trips with my daughter and small tent.

try a utility tent if its the cold that you are trying to beat, can't see a canopy making much difference.

I agree, a canopy isn't going to help if it's the cold that's a problem.

Anyway, isn't the idea of these domes that you use the central dome for living/eating etc? Your tent looks like it's got a 3m square (ish!) dome which is the size of a daytent. Can you just sit inside?

You probably need a daytent then I would have thought. A canopy won't help to keep you warm and you'd need a pretty huge one to get 8 under it.   A 3m x 3m dayroom will just about take 8 people on chairs but you'd probably be better off looking at the big Royal dayroom that is bigger again.
