Hi, welcome to UKCS, no it's not a daft question, not asking it would have been daft i think this must be up there with the top worries for new campers, most stuff is left in or around the tent and will be quite safe on a campsite, obviously there are things that you don't leave because there are no guarantees, cameras, wallets, purses, most small things of value can all go with you but in general tuck stuff in the tent, zip it up and it will remain untouched 99.9% of the time
