I'm looking at buying the Vango Oregon 800. Despite my research, it is unclear to me how many side ('D' shaped) entrances this tent has. I would very much appreciate it if someone could confirm if it is one or two?
Thanks.

Weird that the website and Teresa do not agree, but it's not totally unknown for a manufacturer to get the spec wrong in their advertising. Might ve worth a quick email to Vango direct to confirm?
I actually thought it only had one door but, as also mentioned by Val, confused by the diagram that Vango issue which shows two side doors and an end door.
Thanks again.

I thought the one on display at out local camp shop had two doors and we were surprised to find that ours didn't. We just assumed that the extra door was left out in favour of sewn in groundsheet (keeping costs down?) I contacted Vango because the pitching instructions on their web site and the DVD sent with the tent told us to adjust the tension straps (I don't mean TBS inside the tent) when pegging out but we don't have those either. Vango said it was a mistake and the tent wasn't supposed to have them but the one in their film definitely had them - we could see the couple tightening tham up!
There's at least one set of instructions on the Vango website for the Oregon that includes the words "support the dome poles"......I think they have one or two slip-ups between writing the instructions for the prototypes, and the actuallity of the tents. The instructions for the tensioning straps quite possibly come from the 2006 version Oregon. (Which has two doors in the 800, btw, on each side, but no end door. )

Now I'm even more confused...I contacted Vango and they have informed me the tent has 2 side doors and one at the front of the tent.
I think they must be thinking of the big pole-out end door as the front one, and the two D-shaped doors as the side ones, no? Normally the biggest doorway faces towards the front of the tent, after all. It's just a quirk/design feature/oddity of the Oregon that you can hang a bedroom right behind the front door!
Anyway, I wish the 2006 800 had the big end door. However to get one I would have had to buy the 2007 SIG version, and I don't much like SIGs.
I'd like to hear from other Oregon owners then to find out if they have two side doors. I've got some great pictures of our tent which I'd like to put on here but I can't figure out how. Will have to wait until the kids get home!!
