Hi folks,

Well, after buying our Outwell Nebraska XXL we are going to have a go at "sticking it up" as it were this weekend.

Do any of you Nebraska owners have any advice / tips etc. to assist us. It will be me & the OH (with possibly interference from father-in-law who's an ex scoutmaster!!) and I foresee the odd expletive being bandied around if we encounter any hitches!!!  Our 5 year old son will be securely tied down out of the way or else I envisage absolute chaos!

All advice gratefully received

Cheers

Keith

Hi keith53.

I'm afraid I cannot give you any tips on pitching but we had one next to ours in Cornwall 2 weeks ago and it looked pretty impressive.

I had to reply as the blue face on the post looked so sad.

Welcome to UKCS and enjoy.

Let us know how the pitching went wont you.

Have you seen the pitching vid on the Outwell site?

Someone will be along soon to give you tips I'm sure.

Hi there,

Thanks for the replies. As the weather was a bit dodgy on Saturday and the OH had other things planned for me for Sunday we postponed the proposed erection!

Fingers crossed that next weekend will be fine and I can at least get the thing out of the bag, can't wait.

Keith

Hi again,

Forgot to say, I have seen the Outwell video. Not the most informative in the world. Could do with a voice over explaining things instead of the plinky plonky muzak! I saw the one Vango do and it was much better by far.

Mwalke36, I'll let you know when it's finally up. The one we saw at our local garden centre was fab, it was love at first sight and we knew it was the one for us. On the assumption that we haven't got a leaker then I'm sure it will be great. Can't wait to go away & see how it performs.

Keith

hi, iv been realy lucky and had two good outwells this year, both of them are ace. we have found them easy to pitch, with advice off yeomans on the day of purchace and watching the video.in the nebraska xl i open up the one bedroom so Adam and Tom sleep in there plenty foom for a douuble and single air bed and all there stuff.Mart and i in outher side. with my cousin and her hubby curtain shut. got a picnic table and blow up sofa in living room and cooking stuff in the porch. There have been probs with outwell so you can always look at the 'Royal Pescara 8' same as nebraska but with a small room off at the back.Best of luck
