hi .I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a new tent for the 2008 season and have taken a liking to the Outwel Bear Lake 4,does anybody have one?, and could anyone give me some advice on this tent? cheers now

Hi

I think the tent is great but i think you should wait and see one pitched as the floor plan isnt that much smaller than the bear lake 6 but it feels very much smaller when you are in it..

hi Gary took your advice its the bl 6 for me ,any advice on the door even the one on display there was no way that it would close up without a struggle(about 100 mm gap).I spoke to the salesman who said it was because the tent had weathered but the door being under the front canopy had remained dry and not weathered the same, is this correct?
I think for the amount the tent costs it should be pretty well perfect or is this a general flaw

Hi Ray o sunshine

All i can say is i have heard about this problem but we have sold a load of Bear lakes and i have only had one with this problem and it was so slight a problem, more just a bit tight. Im not sure about the show model you saw but would say if it was that amount it was more down to incorect pitching.
