Hi all.
I have just taken delivery of what I hope will complete my peg collection for all situations that may arise.
These will make my wood pegs redundant.
You get them from Surplus and outdoors The one's I have bought are the Yellow 12" Plastic £3.00 for five, these will replace my 13" wood pegs for use in soft sandy or very wet soggy ground, and they really look very strong and safe to use. They will be used on the tent rubbers all round the tent I will still use my Delta pegs in all but the saturated ground for the guy ropes.
The other one I bought are the red 9" Plastic £2.75 for six
These will be used in normal ground and will replace my
standard plastic pegs I have been using, they certainly look and feel better than all the ones I have used before. The extra 2" length over most normal pegs will allow me to leave them an inch proud ,for easy removal and still have 8" in the ground, were as with the shorter pegs I have to sink them flush.
Check them out if you are needing some new pegs.
Regards
Rex

Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

do you have a link for them Rex?
Hi lorrnev.
every time I give a link it never works, I will have to sort that one out.
Type Surplus and Outdoors into Google and search for tent pegs.
Good luck
Rex

Hi grinder.
Thank you for the link, I must be missing something when I do it. Nothing to do with age mind you
By the way those pegs are really well made.
Regards
Rex.
