We looked at this tent today at Mid west camping and thought the quality was really good, it was a 4 berth but they also do a 6 berth one too.

It is made of a cotton mixture which is simular to the canvas frame tents but a bit lighter, as Colin is not too keen on the Nylon type tents it was a very good alternative and it was really spacious inside even for a 6ft man.

Also the zip in ground sheet system in the living area looked a really good idea.

Does anyone have any feedback on this particular tent please?

We have the Norfolk Lake and love it.  The tent stays cooler in warmer weather and is rock solid in bad weather.  We have tested it out in really bad weather, strong winds, hailstones!  The material is great, I don't like the nylon tents I feel as if I am in a parachute!

lady luck, i have a norfolk lake for sale with accesories only used once last august but have upgraded to a caravan , it come s with side canopie,carpet ,cooker,gas bottle etc its on the classifieds if you want to have a look.

it sleeps 8 but 6 with comfort ,3bedrooms of which 1 is removable

We have a Bear Lake 6. It's a great tent - although the canvas and ZIG is very heavy, but suprising easy to put up and down compared to our previous Nebraska XL.

There have been some issues with the zip on the front door being tight and some debate as to whether you need to weather the canvas. Ours has a tightish zip but nothing too unmanageable and I cannot vouch for the waterproofing as I did not weather ours - but it did not rain.

Overall the BL6 is in a different league to Nylon tents. It remains a lot cooler during the day and seems to retain heat better at night. We have had no condensation problems at all and I tend to run an electric fire.

I plan to weather mine this year but I also have a can of FABSIL I take with me just in case.

Overall BL6 is the best tent we have owned.

Bought a bearlake last year and used it 6 times.

It's ace, best tent on the campsite....
