Hi All!
Hope you all had a great Christmas & New Year!
I am just after a bit of advice really - we are moving from a very small caravan (which we have out grown - well the kids have, we've stayed the same - lol), and have decided to buy a tent, which the kids are very excited about.
I have no clue what I should be looking for or what would be the best options, tunnel tent, dome tent, frame tent - sewn in ground sheet or seperate ground sheet - porch or not - 4, 6 or more person tent!
We are going to Cornwall in the summer for maybe 2 weeks so needs to be a good family tent.
Has anyone got any advice, comments or definately what not to go for that might give us the heads up.
Would be grateful for any help!!!!
Many thanks
Donna x

My advice would be to go for a frame tent.
There are usually some good ones on e-bay. - we got a Sunncamp Gite 5 berth in excellent condition last year for £40.
The frame tent feels so much sturdier than our old tunnel tent and much warmer as well ! It is easy and quick to put up and has a cooking area which not many polyester tents have.
The only downside is the larger packed size which takes up more room in the car.
