Hi all we are thinking of purchasing this tent for this year, it looks well braced. We used to have sunncamp vario 6 plus, but unfortunantly didnt withstand the cornish winds, so we are looking for something much more sturdy, would anyone recommend outwell tents??

Hi Claire

Can't give you any  direct experience of Outwell tents....but...we've just bought our first tent and have gone for the Outwell Montana 6.  We chose this after reading numerous posts on here and also a friend has the same tent.  What model were you looking at?

I love Outwell tents & am waiting for a reply on here cos I really really like the look of the Idaho, not sure of the sense in making the Hartford a single skin though. 2 ways of looking at it, you are getting a tent that is easier to put up than its predecessor ,or, you are paying more for only half as much tent.
Anyway I think you should get one & if you dont like it ,sell it me cheap.
