Having finally settled on a tunnel style tent, I am having a look around at the styles I like. I like the Vango tents and I know their brand is good quality,

However I really like the layout of the Aztec Falcon 8 but I know nothing about the Aztec brand. Can anyone give me any advice?

Thanks

Hi, we have the falcon 8 and it is a well thought out tent. It has great headroom throughout, a large porch big enough to cook in and sit in when weather is being typically British that you can stand without stooping even when you're 6ft tall. If you search this forum for aztec falcon you'll find my earlier comments. The Falcon has a good HH and we used ours for 5 days over New Year. The weather was windy, with prolonged torrential rain on the first day but the tent didn't budge and not a drop leaked in. We've been camping in some pretty ferocious weather and this tent has stood up better than our sunncamp vario 900. The other thing about this tent is that when it says it sleeps 8, it really does! Each bedroom will take a double airbed or two singles at a push. The zipped divider means you can have 2 small rooms and one big one, 4 small ones, or two big ones so it's very versatile. It's a quality tent comparable to all the well known brands out there

hi, we had an aztec sala 8 a few yrs ago and must say that we couldn't fault the quality of it, in fact it stood up to the elements far better than the vango diablo we had previously which just folded and ripped beyond repair at the first sign of a storm!

We had a Aztec cantera 6 tent for the 4 years with no trouble at all, it stood up to all weathers and didn't budge. We wanted to expand (2 kids sharing one room wasn't going very well) and have just bought the Aztec Falcon 8 (bargain price of £235 in gaynors.co.uk).

After comparing for the last 6 months whether to have the Outwell Nebraska or the Royal Pescara 8  we deceided to stick with what we know best.   We did put it up in the garden to have a look and it was really nice, the porch was huge and the bedrooms were a really good size too.

I would recommend buying Aztec to anyone. Great quality tent without breaking the purse strings with it.
