Hi, We have a bathtub groundsheet in our Indy 8 and it is fairly snug but not like a SIG, it hooks up into the tent but there are gaps.
We got the occasional spider in the tent last year.
It also ends where the bedroom pods start, so we place another groudsheet under these. Having not known anything about SIG before we bought, I think I woud prefer one now that I know about them...
My opinion......might not be majority

I actually think a flat groundsheet with a good width of storm flap tucked underneath works better at keeping the drafts out than a riser groundsheet. If a tent had stormflaps AND a riser groundsheet that would be great, but sadly none of my tents do.
When you tuck them under, how do you keep them in place? On the cheap tent we had last year, they kept blowing out.
Put things on them, basically! I keep the food storage boxes etc round the edge of the tent.
You can also peg them, if you use mushroom topped pegs and don't mind the odd hole.
