I think the Outwell Minnisota looks great! We just bought a Vango Sumatra polycotton from OutdoorAction on Friday, will be here on Monday. We mainly bought it for short get aways, says it sleeps 6 and the living space looks roomy as well. We bought it as a sample tent and was only 199.
I've never been in nor seen the Evo, but have wondered about the big slope on it and the usual space. I know there are a few on here with them and would know better. Check out Go Outdoors, think they have the Sunvalley on clearance sale, it's the 2007 model.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes

The Sumatra polycotton looks really interesting, and a good price too! Will you please post to let us know how you get on with it, MamaBear?
Hehe this will go on and on!! Like others I have had so far :
a Coleman trailblazer 5 ( faulty ) a Coleman ridgeline 4 ( good but too small sold on ) a coleman oasis 6 ( which I LOVE and still have, its a weird semi geodesdic shape, very sturdy but no sig ) a Cabanon rotonde, ( fab BUT like others have said, bulky, VERY heavy, fiddly inside bits etc ) sold on, and am about to take delivery of an Outwell hartford m, sig and dome with big back pod and small porch! If this is any good the coleman will get the chop too and I'll be down to ONE TENT!!!
Sorry to sound a bit thick but I had somekind of outdoor show marked in my calendar for last week at the NEC but when I went to the NEC website I could not find any info, just stuff for the outdoor show next month... have I missed the show with all the tents??
Sorry can't answer your query PrincessJelly but wanted to jump in and ask the gathered tentaholics if they know anything about Relum Bardini (searched high and lo the other year for one) ... has Relum gone out of business do you know? Also were drooling over the Dutch makes De Raad and Ranstadt (spelling?) ... does anyone know if there's a uk supplier?, they look so fab., maybe not as practical as some but they look the business.
