That's one of the reasons I wanted it. I think it is a lot more stable in terms of not blowing away. The nature of the bendy-ness means it's more likely to bend in really strong winds than fly off. Even if it did, I can't imagine it doing a lot of damage. It did seem pretty wedded to the floor though - I think it would be much better in many ways, and I imagine, faster to put up.
I reckon it's a great alternative, and I'm sure we'll get used to the sight of bigger pop-up tents!

Excellent. My tip is, once you've folded it back up, to stand it upright to fold it down into circles. One hand on the top, one on the top-side, and then bend. Twelve minutes struggling with it on it's side. One go with it upright.
The poles slot inside, in the corners.
