I've been looking around for a weekend tent that's comparable to these. Now the kids are all "growed up", my tent is too big and too much trouble to take.
I'm only likely to w/e camp now too as it's not that much more to fly to spain for a week as it is to drive and camp here on a decent site.
What is there around with a sewn in groundsheet and all in one or outer first erection that's a bit cheaper? I need to find something as OH won't camp with ours again; and I'm itching to go....

Dane, are you saying the montana is too big? We have the monty 6 and love it although there are 4 of us. The monty 4 would probably be better if its just 2 of you.

No, I'd like something like it but cheaper if there is such a thing. If not then I'll have to bite the bullet and buy one. I keep bidding on Ebay but the last one was in southhampton and went for £10 less than the new price - crazy!

I've seen some Khyam tents and I must say they realy appeal to me. They're easily erectable due to an external fram with ingenius system and come with S.I.G.
Why not look at their site?

I picked up the Outwell Minnosota 4 (supercedes the Montana 4) with Front Extension from the NEC. It's a cracking tent for 2 and the front extension really finishes it off. I was undecided between the Trout Lake (with Front Extension) and the Minnesota but plumped for the Minnesota on cost and weight.

Never be afraid to try something new, remember.... Amateurs built the 'Ark'... but Professionals built the 'Titanic' !!!
Have a Monty 6 here for the two of us for longer stays, have both the Minny 4 and Trout lake for shorter stays, But Monty is the best tent by far and only 30 - 35 mins to pitch.
