Hi to all,does anyone know if the outwell side canopy will fit the idaho xl,we just bought the tent from camperite leisure and was told it wont fit,i feel like im cracking up because i have read in the web site that it will fit all types of tunnel tent. I wanted it to put on the back door of the tent because the porch is very enclosed,we are camping in south of france this summer and i thought a sun canopy is a must. does anyone know if it will fit ?. http://www.worldofcamping.co.uk/shop/pics/side_canopy.jpg

Just been looking further, and saw the side canopy, only info i can find says it fits most, but not specific, looks like you will have to set up your tent and find out. sorry cant be more help

Not sure if this helps, on the outwell website www.outwell.co.uk the only extension shown to fit your tent is the 1 pasted below.  If its not this 1 you have i think you may be out of luck.

I agree, its suggested it fits most but its not specific, If i were you I would contact a few different camping shops such as yeomans http://www.yeomansoutdoors.co.uk/

 or crowland-caravans on 01733 210186 both are helpfull and you should be able to get an answer.

Hi There, and sorry I missed you when you brought your tent as I was at another show, but I think young Tom advised you right and he did mention it to me over the weekend on the phone. I suppose the honest reply is that it will fit but only after a very vague fashion. The Outwell universal side canopy was really designed to fit onto the Montana 12 and Montan 6  and Colorado ranges before full canopies became available..(back in the good old days!!)

The Idaho has a domed shaped roof rather than a straight tunell roof. and that's why we believe it will be a poor fit.

There UK sales director is coming to see me next week and I will ask him as well and get the official definitive reply for you. Please feel free to email me and I will reply when I have it from ther horses mouth so to speak.
