Hi Suns thanks for the shout. I have had a look at the new Vangos and I am a little dissappointed with the bedroom sizes which all seem to be about 140cm. the Breckenridge had far bigger pods as it used the length of the tent rather than the width for the bedroom areas. 140cm is ok if you use a standard double airbed but you would not get 6 single airbeds in those pods. The sizes are clearly designed for ground mats or inflateable mats and not airbeds. Perhaps I am being too fussy.

Hi Nigel no problem .I know where you are coming from with the bed pod sizes.Just looked at the Royal Bordeaux and it looks like the middle bed pod is smaller at 120cm
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
I think the Vango Amazon (600) is a great tent, like the Nile, but like you have said - those sleeping pods look awfully small. Where can you get the same quality tent as the Vango and similar design, size etc? Is there such a tent or have I just got to sleep in a small space (also have to have cot in another pod - hope there is enough room for that!
We have now invested in Outwell camping beds and we will put our self inflating mats on them. This leaves space under the beds to store our bags and kit so we can possibl squeeze into 140cm pods. Still would have liked the pod sizes that the Breckenridge provided but cant really see any manufacturer going down this route.
