Hi all, we've had a little bit of bother this week as some kind people decided to break into our shed and relieve us of our Khyam Espace

Two questions really.... The first is that for Insurance Claim purposes we need to tell them what the nearest equivalent is and the cost of it (we had new for old cover). However it looks like Khyam have moved away from doing the cruciform-style tents - so working out what to tell them isn't easy. A local camping shop we've been in today suggested that it might be the Windsor - but that's an 8 berth (Espace is 10) without the porch area(s) that we were intending to use to storage. Any thoughts from those familiar with the new range?

The other is, if they give us money rather than buy the tent for us, we'll be in the market for a new tent. Ideally we need something with at least 3 bedrooms plus storage space and a reasonable living area. Any recommendations gratefully received.

Oh, and if anyone round the Liverpool area is offered an Espace, ask them what they did with my toolbox will you?

Hi, we have an espace and have been looking to replace it this year. I think the closest khyam would be the longleat with the extra annexe. However it would not give you the 1 metre mini porch area at the back of the tent. The windsor would be camparable as has a larger living area - but no porch areas. We haven't really found anything else as good as the espace for sleeping and living space but we wanted to get a tunnel tent with a few more modern features such as sig, easier doors to get in and out of and not so open at the front. Looking at the vermont xl, ontario 8 and not sure what else yet?
