Anyone had any dealings with this website?

I ordered a tent last monday, got an email on tuesday saying "All of the items in this order have now been shipped" supposedly 24hr courier.

Chased up to day and they are still awaiting stock in.

Not impressed.

They were supposed to have phoned me back yesterday afternoon to say if the tent had arrived, but guess what - they didnt.

Totally un-impressed.

never had dealings with their website, but the company are local-ish to me. We recently brought our Vermont XL from them and found them knowledgable and helpful.

Its seems a shame that this doesn't extend to their online trading.
I spoke to the owner on our first visit (sorry cant remember his name) he seemed very genuine and service driven. not defending them but they are a genuine company if thats any reassurance for you.

They are very friendly / helpful on the phone, but then just dont do what they say they will do i.e. no telephone or email back.
Finally I got a tracking number out of them, as they insist the tent was shipped yesterday (monday) so will be with me today. Following up the tracking number I see the package was actually collected today, so will (presumably) be with me tomorrow.
I just want honest answers, not to be fobbed off. At the end of the day (assuming my tent arrives tomorrow) I will be happy, but wont ever buy anything from that website again. Their loss.
