Just a quick note for eveyone. The berths are based on using roll mats which are about 50 cm wide. Wrong I know but that is the way the tent makers do it. I would say you must see the tent in the flesh first if your thinking of buying a family tent.

For those registered with Quidco, you can get 10% off at Outdoormegastore, bringing the price for a 2008 XL down to £270 inc. postage. Anyone found a better price as I am on the brink of taking the plunge?
I paid £275 incl postage, but I notice that the place I bought mine from has put the price up, so I reckon that £270 is a good price (unless you are arkaig :) )

I have just replaced by Vango Killington from last year with the Hartford xl 2008 model. I thinks I got quite a good deal, Tent, carpet, footprint groundsheet and windbreak for £343 from Outdoor world Warrington.
