Hi, I am a complete newbie, and camping for the first time in July.  I have bought a Royal La Rochelle 4 and the instructions are okay if you know what you are doing!  I can see that the poles are colourcoded, but the instructions dont say where each pole should go, or in what order.   I dont want to go breaking poles cos I did it wrong!  Can anyone help me here?  Also, I will need to erect this on my own!

All help appreciated!

Hi there I have got a Royal Memphis 5 which doesnt look too dissimilar (just a little larger) on ours the colour on the poles corresponds with a bit of the same colour on the sleeves you thread them through, dont know about what order is recommended but I always work from the bedroom end first, should be easy enough to put up on your own,I can do mine and Im only 5" !!,looks a really nice tent enjoy yourself,

Hi, I had a La Rochelle, loved it, now have a trailer tent. It is very simple to erect, just do as evochic says and follow the coloured ends on the sleeves, we pitched the bedroom first. It is a great tent, stood up very well to really strong winds and heavy rain. Loads of room in the living room part, bedroom is great for two people. Have fun

Hi, I did my trial run in the garden today.  I got the basics up in half an hour, started with the bedroom end first as suggested.  Took about an  hour to finish it off then.  It was really really windy today and while my washing was taking a right old beating on the line, the tent looked as though it had a gentle breeze blowing through it, it was so solid!  Very happy indeed with this tent!  And I did it all on my own and I am only 5 foot too!
