Hi all,
does anyone know where I could view outwell tents in republic of ireland or northern ireland?I'd love to have o look at the bear lake6 - price at capel camping here in dublin is mad- 999 euro!!
The online stores in the uk are much cheaper - would it be worth my while having it delivered family in england and collecting it on our way to france in the summer I wonder?
But then I wouldn't really get a chance to test it out before travelling-a bit risky.

There is a sad shortage of tent displays here in Ireland, Downshire in Banbridge have a few but not many. If you are set on the Bear Lake 6, most of the English companies will deliver to the South of Ireland, for a little bit more but not that much, then you can get a chance to have a trial pitch etc before France. Nothing worse than turning up on site to discover they,ve forgotten to put the poles in or whatever...

If you look at the Outwell website it lists all the stockists in the Republic and Northern Ireland. It may be worth giving some of them a call to see if they have the Bear Lake.

You might be surprised, some of them aren't too bad at all. Maybe because I'm in the North it seems better. If that's the case then you get it sent to my house and come and pick it up

hi misscampette Tog 24 in the Kildare Retail village have some outwell on display and also Charles camping in Blessington you would need to ring them to find out which ones they have up, i think maybe only a couple on display but they may be able to order one in for you. Oh and millets in the square tallaght or blanchardstown sometimes have a catalogue with outwell that you can order them from i think, but they dont have any room for displays.
I found tog 24 better value for the montana 6 & footprint & carpet than Charles camping or capel street,they are also giving us a 10% discount so works out about 100 euro cheaper infact , i d prefer to buy here in Ireland if i could incase of any leaks and had to be returned. So i am seriously considering getting the montana 6 from Tog 24 hope this helps.
